penne in pesto cream sauce

he and i made penne in pesto sauce last night.

we argued during the whole process. he added too much salt and i wouldn’t let him add enough olive oil for the ‘flavor’  etc. etc.

but then we hit upon a common ground {love is all about compromise}

and once it was made we may have finished it in 5 minutes flat. it was THAT good. even though i do say so myself.

i think we make a great team ;) i also think i got lucky…. they don’t come better than that.

p.s. pesto recipe here. white sauce = a little bit of milk (1 large cup) + 2 tablespoons butter + 1/2 cup fresh cream + grated cheese. garnish with pepper and oregano if you like yours the way we like ours.
